David Powell

I started at Redmandarin in June 2006 having spent the previous two years working in qualitative and quantitative research where I focussed on brand positioning and product launches.

As Head of Research & Evaluation at Redmandarin I'm responsible for the development of new Research & Evaluation products and delivering against Redmandarin's ongoing aim to improve the sponsorship research discipline.

Prior to getting a real job I studied History at Exeter College, Oxford specialising in the history of the French Enlightenment, and I'm still passionate about history and political philosophy. I'm very interested in technology especially computing and the Internet, and I've been lucky enough to work on a number of research projects involving both.

Outside of work my main passion is US sports, and American Football in particular (ever since Superbowl XXIII, Montana to Taylor) and I'm a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
